Hey everyone, I have some news! Recently the company I worked for was sold, and I have taken the opportunity to strike out on my own and start working on my art and design projects full time!

I am so excited to have this opportunity and have already been making the most of my new schedule. I am now streaming four days a week on Twitch, and am enjoying sharing my progress with everyone who pops in for a chat!

At the moment I have settled into a rough schedule after trying out a few different combinations of days and times. Here is my current stream schedule:

Monday 12.30pm NZST
Tuesday 12.30PM NZST
Wednesday – no stream
Thursday 12.30PM NZST
Friday 8.30am NZST

Our cat Su is still very sick however, and we make frequent trips to the vet – so the times above are subject to change.

I have a countdown timer on my Twitch channel so you can always see how long it is until the next stream in your timezone. I also update the announcements channel in my new Discord server if there are any major changes to the schedule.

Oil Painting Series: Victorian Animals

I have been making good progress on my Victorian animals series, although as I suspected my proposed completion date of October 31st was wildly optimistic… I have just started number seven in the series, and am still working on the underpainting stages for three other paintings.

New Sculpted Jewellery Designs

Every Monday in my Twitch streams I am working on jewellery designs for the shop. I am so pleased to finally have the time to work on designs that I have had in my head for so long. I am also happy to be able to have completed some half-finished projects!

New Tech

On the weekend I ordered an iPad Pro along with an Apple Pencil, and I picked them up yesterday! My favourite art app Procreate recently stopped working on my iPad Mini as it is now too old to receive updates. I can’t wait to get started on more digital art now that I finally have an up-to-date device!

Out and About

While I have not been able to update the blog regularly over the winter months I have been out and about quite a bit. The weather was quite mild this winter which meant I was able to go for lots of walks. I enjoyed being able to go out almost every day!

I recently posted my winter Vlog on Youtube, it is quite short however as most of my walking involved trips to and from the vet. I did not have as many exciting expeditions as usual!

I have also set up a Gamewisp page, which is similar to Patreon but can be integrated with my Twitch channel. I have three tiers set up currently, Tiers one and two offer monthly digital art rewards, while Tier three will offer a physical mini art print as well as the digital rewards! The page will be live soon so keep an eye on the blog and social media channels for updates!
